The private investor and sports visionary H.P. Strebel created a highly specialised and modernly equipped infrastructure for sports training on 30,000 m². He followed the idea of investing in young athletes.

The ambitious idea developed from a combination of research & development, health management for athletes, nutrition and sports training.
"We wanted to create an ice rink that is future-oriented and allows different training situations. A smaller ice rink means a faster and more direct game, and for that you need training. In this way, young talents are optimally prepared to later on play in top competitions and the highest leagues".

The EV-Zug trains in the high-class sports competence centre, fully equipped with the latest technology from engo. The EV-Zug is a Swiss ice hockey club, which plays in the Swiss National League.
